Patcay.com – Microsoft has announced the launch of Microsoft Copilot, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) companion designed to transform the way humans interact with technology.
Copilot is set to debut on September 26, 2023, and will be available on devices and applications running Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Edge, and Bing.
“Advancements in AI technology enable you to converse in everyday language and receive relevant responses or actions,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Microsoft, in his statement on Friday (September 22, 2023).
This latest feature will assist users in completing tasks more quickly through over 150 integrated features within Windows 11 devices. The update includes the integration of Copilot, enhancements to the Paint and Photos applications, as well as the introduction of a new natural voice for the Narrator.
In the Edge browser and Bing search engine, Copilot will offer personalized answers based on users’ conversation history. Additionally, there are improvements to OpenAI’s DALL.
E 3 model in the Bing Image Creator and Content Credentials feature, which employs cryptographic methods to add digital watermarks to images generated by AI.
Furthermore, Copilot will also be available on Microsoft Shopping with features that provide recommendations and the best prices based on user requests. Copilot will be made available to enterprise customers starting from November 1, 2023, with integration into Microsoft 365.
“Individual customers of Microsoft 365 will not be left behind. They will receive updates with Microsoft Copilot integration in Microsoft Designer, which will assist in creating visual assets, invitations, and more,” added Yusuf Mehdi.
