Patcay.com – Sony has released the latest update for the PlayStation 5 (PS5), offering an enhanced audio experience through the DualSense controller.
Not only that, the latest update for PS5 also brings a deeper screen-sharing experience and updates the power indicator customization capabilities more easily.
The PS5 Update 9.00 system was introduced in beta version over a month ago. Currently, the update has been available to the public since last Wednesday.

The PS5 software in this 24.02-09.00 version brings improvements to the audio quality of the DualSense controller and DualSense Edge.
Now, the sound produced from the PlayStation 5 controller becomes clearer and more immersive, especially when used in voice conversations.
In addition to audio improvements, the microphone on the DualSense has also been enhanced. Sony has integrated a new “AI machine-learning” model capable of reducing noise generated when pressing buttons on the controller during gameplay.
This update also improves the in-game voice chat experience.

The power indicator on the PlayStation 5 has also been updated. Users can now adjust the brightness of the console power indicator to their preferences.
To update the PS5, simply go to Settings > System > Beep and Light > Brightness. There, you can adjust the brightness in three levels: dim, medium, and bright.

The Screen Sharing feature has also been updated by Sony. Now, this feature has been enriched with emoji reactions. Viewers watching live streams on PS5 can now send emojis to provide feedback on gameplay.

Although these features are enabled by default, streamer hosts can disable them through the Screen Sharing settings on their PS5 consoles.
PS5 Update 9.00 also brings improvements in performance and stability for system software, DualSense gamepad, headset, PlayStation VR2 controller, and Access controller.
This update can be downloaded automatically. However, if your console has not received the 9.00 update yet, you can download it manually through Settings > System > System Software > System Software Update, then select “Update System Software” under “Software Update Available.”
Meanwhile, although PlayStation 6 or PS6 has been a topic of discussion, its launch is believed to be several years away.
Sony has not provided official information about the next-generation console after this PS5. However, leaks about its specifications have already been widely spread on the internet.
