Patcay.com – WhatsApp has introduced several interesting changes to improve privacy and user experience on its platform.
This latest information leaked from a trusted source, WABetaInfo. One of the major changes is WhatsApp’s effort to enhance chat security by introducing a locked chat feature for connected devices.
This feature has begun to appear in the WhatsApp Beta Android update version 2.24.8.4, which can be downloaded through the Google Play Store.

With this feature, users can lock chats with a secret code, ensuring the privacy of their chats even when connected to multiple devices.
To use this feature, users only need to create a secret code in the chat settings on their primary device. After that, encrypted chats will be hidden from the main chat list and can only be accessed by entering the secret code on the connected device.
Furthermore, WhatsApp has also introduced a new way to interact with status updates. Now, users can mention specific contacts in their statuses privately.
This feature is available in WhatsApp Beta for iOS 24.7.10.71. With this, WhatsApp hopes to increase interaction among users and notify specific contacts when they are mentioned in a status.
